SC1 Consortium Building Workshop
05/21/2018

On 18 May 2018 the Czech Liaison Office for Research, Development and Innovation (CZELO), together with the Lithuanian Research, Development and Innovation Liaison Office (LINO) jointly organised a half-day Consortium building workshop around selected topics of the upcoming 2019 calls of the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 1 (SC1) - Health, demographic change and wellbeing. The objective of this hands-on event is to prepare ground for consortia building: to give opportunity to discuss concrete cooperation possibilities, to exchange the expertise and learn from each other. The event attracted approximately 40 representatives of the scientific community, mainly from the academic sector, as well as representatives of NGOs and consultancy companies.
Saulius Marcinkonis (NCP, Lithuania) in his presentation "Health, demographic change and wellbeing - Calls for 2019", explained the process of the preparation of the WP and focused on the upcoming calls for 2019. Afterward, Zlatuše Novotná (CEITEC) presented the H2020 project Alliance4Life and shared with participants her experience on how to write a successful project proposal.
In the pitch presentations, participants presented their institutions and project proposals. The rest of the day participants were given ample opportunity to further discuss their project ideas and form the first project consortia.
